The AHRA Board meets about three to four times in a year. At these meetings, the discussion usually revolves around issues and challenges faced by the respective associations. It also provides the platform for the members to share best practices and the country’s key tourism statistics.
The issues and activities undertaken by AHRA revolve around the following themes:
• Training and development
• Safety and Security
The AHRA Board Meetings are held in conjunction with the ASEAN Tourism Association (ASEANTA) Board Meetings. This is an association of national travel agents, hotels, airlines and National Tourism Organisations (NTOs) in ASEAN. All AHRA Ordinary Members are eligible to join ASEANTA as Charter members.
